This piece of wall hanging is known as Patchwork design from vintage hand-embroidered patches from Afghanistan & Pakistan. These patches traveled across the countries to reach the Barmer region of Rajasthan, India. Deep in the Thar desert, rural Rajasthani women create these unique designs at home. Environment-friendly recycled products used to make these designs.
