The story

An ancient technique of storing rice. Rice grains (brown rice) are stored in a sphere made of rice straw, made entirely by hand. The method is so effective that up to 40 kg of rice can be stored in a mudi for years. The technique has been passed down through generations, but today mudis are hard to find. They are very auspicious, and a must-have at house-warmings and weddings. Sizes: 1 kg ₹1,090 · 2 kg ₹1,540.
