The ledger, in the open
These are not projections. Each figure below is recomputed from the register every time this page loads — the money settled back to makers, the makers we name, the communities represented, the provenance records issued, the funds raised for campaigns and the journeys hosted. A figure that is not yet real, or too small to be meaningful, is left off the page rather than dressed up.

“Value returned to makers” counts only settled payouts to makers and community funds — never gross sales, and never a figure before the money has actually moved. Any figure below its Admin-set threshold is hidden entirely.
How we count
A maker is counted only once their account is approved and publicly represented — no phantom headcounts, no anonymous totals standing in for real people.
The value figure is drawn from the payout ledger: gross, share, fee and settlement date. It rises only when a maker has actually been paid.
If a figure is zero, or below the threshold at which it would be honest to publish, the page shows nothing at all rather than a flattering approximation.
