From Talek village
Every piece is made by people from the community, using materials and techniques passed down through generations.
Our crafts come from Talek village in the Masai Mara, Narok County, where Maasai artisans have kept their craft traditions alive for centuries. Our artisans are our own family members and the women of our neighborhood in Talek.
They make each piece by hand, and the beads and shúkà cloth are sourced directly from within our community. Buying from us supports these families directly and keeps the craft alive from one generation to the next.

The colours in our beadwork carry meaning: red for bravery and unity, blue for sky and water, white for peace, green for the land, orange for hospitality, and yellow for the sun and growth.
Cattle are central to Maasai wealth, diet and identity. Today many Maasai balance these traditions with schooling, tourism and conservation work around reserves like the Masai Mara.
